For decades, people have reported strange encounters with UFOs, their occupants, and a slew of other strange phenomena. On the Our Strange Skies podcast we covered many of those stories. This archive represents two and a half years of hard work by a bunch of extraordinary people. In the first episode of the Our Strange Skies podcast, Rob runs down the basics of the UFO phenomenon, including a working definition, the characteristics of the phenomenon, and the competing theories as to what may be responsible for these objects. He also dives into the contact phenomenon, and the different classifications of these types of encounters. Also, there may be aliens!
Random Remarks:
If you couldn't tell, J Allen Hynek is pretty important. This episode is a practical love fest.
I messed up the acronym APRO: It stands for Aerial Phenomenon Research Organization.
I also learned that a group of aliens is known as a buttah.
